GALVESTON — A League City man is suing a transport company, alleging it damaged his trailer while they were transporting it.

David Givens filed a complaint April 9 in Galveston County District Court against AAA Logistics LLC, doing business as AAA Transport Solutions, OM Corporations Transport Inc. and Nicolay Mendoza, alleging breach of contract, violation of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act and negligence.

According to the complaint, Givens is the owner of a 2017 Forest River Surveyor trailer and lives in it while he works at distant job sites. On Jan. 16, the suit says, the plaintiff signed a contract to have AAA Transport Solutions haul his trailer Jan. 21,  to an address in Kemah.

Givens says AAA Transport subcontracted the job to OM. The suit states the plaintiff's trailer suffered significant damages while being transported, resulting in costs of more than $10,000.

Givens seeks damages of no less than $10,877.69, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney Kyle L. Dickson of Murray Lobb PLLC in Houston.
