GALVESTON — A Galveston County man is suing a construction company, alleging they never finished the work they were paid to do.

Joe Fazio filed a complaint May 21 in Galveston County District Court against Ray Rocha, Laura Rocha, individually and doing business as Ray's Remodeling and Construction, alleging breach of contract, violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and fraud.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 18, 2017, Fazi accepted a bid from the defendant for the remodeling and construction of his home at 1318 Altavilla Lane, League City. The agreement allegedly stated the work would be completed for $18,575.

The suit says the defendants indicated on Sept. 20, 2018, that they required an extra $2,200 to cover additional work and materials. Despite being paid, the suit alleges, the defendants never finished the work.

Fazio seeks damages of $15,725, attorney fees, interest, court costs and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney Ronald Max Raydon of The Raydon Firm LLC in Houston.
