Exxon Mobil alleges former employee owes $73,000

HOUSTON — Exxon Mobil is suing a Katy man who allegedly has failed to abide by an employment agreement's terms.

Exxon Mobil Corporation filed a complaint June 1 in Harris County District Court against Michael A. Gow, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the complain Exxon Mobil and Gow signed a tax equalization guidelines agreement Sept.  22, 2014. The defendant since then, however, allegedly has failed to honor the agreement and is indebted to the plaintiff for $73,065.88.

Exxon Mobil seeks relief in the amount of $73,065.88, attorney fees, interest, costs of suit and all other just relief. It is represented by attorneys Anita Jamali, Joni M. Fraser, Jeremy M. Jones and Kurt L. Lyn of Lam, Lyn & Philip PC in Houston.
