GALVESTON — A Houston energy services provider is suing a petroleum company, alleging it never paid nearly $5,000 for equipment and labor.

Ranger Energy Services LLC filed a complaint June 18 in Galveston County District Court against Harvest Petroleum Inc., alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Ranger Energy furnished labor, materials, machinery and supplies to Harvest Petroleum for drilling and completion of a project in Galveston County. The defendant, however, has allegedly failed to comply with the payment agreement and is indebted to the plaintiff for the balance of $4.995. The plaintiff says it has attempted to secure payment from Harvest Petroleum but to no avail.

Ranger Energy Services seeks the balance of $4,995, attorney fees, actual damages, costs of court, interest and all other just relief. It is represented by attorneys Joel Rheman and Jonathan E. Daigle of Sullins, Johnston, Rohrbach & Magers in Houston.
