HOUSTON — A customer is suing a San Antonio grocery store, alleging he was injured in a slip and fall on the defendant's property.

Willie Larry filed a complaint July 9 in Harris County District Court against HEB Grocery Company LP, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Larry was at HEB Grocery on Dec. 29, 2018, at 646 S. Main Ave., San Antonio. The suit says Larry slipped and fell due to the lack of warnings regarding a potential hazard on the floor. The suit alleges the plaintiff required surgery to repair a torn meniscus and has suffered both physical and emotional damages and impairment as a result of the defendant's negligence.

Larry seeks trial by jury, damages between $200,000 and $1 million, interest, costs of court and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney Sofia E. Bruera of Bruera Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
