HOUSTON — A Houston lighting company is suing a client, alleging it is owed nearly $800,000 for services the plaintiff delivered.

Neutex Advanced Energy Group Inc. filed a complaint July 8 in Harris County District Court against Jules Moor and Exquisite Group Limited Liability Company, alleging breach of contract, fraud, unjust enrichment and suit on account.

According to the complaint, Neutex Advanced Energy supplied lighting products and labor to the Houston Community College campuses in Stafford and Houston. The plaintiff, the suit alleges, then issued invoices to the defendant for payment of services. Although the defendant has received the invoices, the lawsuit states, it has failed fail to pay what it owes, constituting breach of contract.

Neutex Advanced Energy seeks the amount due of $295,640.81, exemplary damages for fraud of $500,000, attorney fees, interest and all other just relief. It is represented by attorney Abel Manji of Hird, Chu, Lawji PLLC in Sugar Land.
