SHERMAN — A Frisco woman is suing her former employer, alleging she was not paid appropriately for overtime work.

Julie Rickman filed a complaint July 23 in the Sherman Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Air Repair Inc., doing business as Air Repair Pros, and Todd Rohwer individually, alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, Rickman began working for Air Repair as a receptionist/dispatcher in April 2018. The suit alleges she regularly worked in excess of 40 hours a week. Despite working overtime, the plaintiff said she was not compensated at a fair rate at 1 1/2 times her regular pay as required by the FLSA.

Rickman seeks trial by jury, overtime compensation, attorney fees, court costs and all just relief. She is represented by attorneys Mark Siurek and Patricia Haylon of Warren & Siurek LLP in Houston.
