GALVESTON — A Galveston woman is suing her condo association, alleging she was injured due to its negligence.
Marcia Williams filed a complaint Aug. 13 in Galveston County District Court against The Palms at Cove View and The Palms at Cove View Condominium Association Inc., alleging negligence and premises liability.
According to the complaint, on Aug. 13, 2017, while Williams was a resident at The Palms at Cove View, 3506 Cove View Blvd., Galveston, she tripped and fell on unlevel concrete and loose gravel on a walkway. The suit alleges the plaintiff suffered a fracture to her nasal cavity, a concussion and fracture to her left arm.
The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to provide a safe environment and failed to notify persons of the dangerous walkway.
Williams seeks up to $1 million in monetary relief, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Richard A. Hinojosa of Hinojosa Law PLLC in Houston.
