HOUSTON — A Houston woman is suing a Louisiana casino, she was caused to slip and fall due to the defendant's negligence.

Cindy Nguyen filed a complaint Aug. 16 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against L'Auberge Casino Resort and The Service Companies, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Nguyen was at L'Auberge Casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as a guest July 18, 2018. The suit alleges Nguyen was walking to the elevator and the casino was dimly lit.
