Customer alleges auto restoration company failed to complete work

HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing an automotive restoration company, alleging it did not complete the work for which it was paid.

Rodolfo Aguilera filed a complaint Aug. 12 in Harris County District Court against MKW Automotive and Luis Gomes, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, Aguilera hired MKW Automotive in March 2017 to make repairs and restoration to a 1957 Bel Air. The suit alleges the defendant has been paid more than $10,000 but has failed to perform its obligations as per the agreement with the plaintiff.

Aguilera seeks damages up to $20,000, attorney fees, interest, court costs and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney Adalberto E. Ruiz of Ruiz Law Firm PLLC in Pearland.
