Randalls' negligence blamed for mother's death

HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing a Randalls grocery store alleging, his mother  died due to the defendant's negligence.

Salim Khoury individually and as representative of the estate of Sahar Khoury, deceased, filed a complaint Aug. 19 in Harris County District Court against Albertsons LLC doing business as Randalls Food & Drugs, LP alleging negligence, liability and wrongful death.

According to the complaint. on April 18, Sahar Khoury was shopping at the Randalls at 9660 Westheimer, Houston. The suit alleges she suffered severe injuries that resulted in her death.

Salim Khoury seeks more than $200,000, punitive damages, attorney fees, costs and all other just relief.  He is represented by attorneys Johnny N. Garza Jr. of Adame Garza LLP in Houston, and Juan Luui Guerra Jr. of Juan L. Guerra Jr. & Associates PLLC in Houston.
