Customer alleges Home Depot negligence caused injuries

GALVESTON — A Houston man is suing Home Depot, alleging that he was injured due to the negligence of an employee.

Howard Joubert filed a complaint Aug. 27 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas against The Home Depot USA Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Joubert was at the Home Depot store No. 6806 on Jan. 16, when a stack of wood that an employee was handling fell on the plaintiff. The suit alleges the plaintiff sustained injuries to his left leg, knee and ankle.

Joubert seeks trial by jury, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all just relief. He is represented by attorneys Alan Kolodny and Rashon Murrill of Kolodny Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
