Stockholder alleges stock group failed to supply proper information

SHERMAN — A stockholder is suing a stock group, alleging he was not properly informed of information to which he was entitled.

Richard Tijerina individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated filed a class action complaint Sept. 4 in the Sherman Division of the Eastern District of Texas against LegacyTexas Financial Group Inc., Anthony J. Levecchio, George FIsk, Arcilia Acosta, Kevin J. Hanigan, Bruce Hunt, Brian McCall, Karen H. O'Shea and Greg Wilkinson, alleging failure to disclose.

According to the complaint Tijerina was a stockholder of LegacyTexas common stock. The suit alleges on Aug. 23, the plaintiff was mislead about certain information concerning the defendants' financial projections and analysis, which caused the plaintiff damages. The plaintiff was not given the information needed to make an informed decision in his stockholder vote, resulting in damages to him.

Tijerina seeks trial by jury, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all just and proper relief. He is represented by attorney William B. Federman of Federman & Sherwood in Oklahoma City.
