Patient alleges Blue Lagune Therapy's negligence led to fall on poorly marked ramp

HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing a Katy therapy business, alleging he tripped on a poorly marked ramp.

Dwight Mann filed a complaint Aug. 29 in Harris County District Court against Blue Lagune Therapy Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Mann was approaching Blue Lagune Therapy 1115 Ave. D., Katy, on Nov. 7, 2017. The plaintiff said he was about to enter the defendant's property when he tripped and fell on the sidewalk entrance ramp which was poorly marked.

The suit alleges Mann sustained physical injuries and mental anguish, leading to medical, hospital and pharmaceutical expenses and lost wages.

Mann seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million, trial by jury, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all just relief. He is represented by attorney Jorge L. Gomez of Gomez Law Firm in Houston.
