HOUSTON — A Harris County couple is suing a building company, alleging the defendant's work was done negligently.

Gerald Wilson and Marsherria Wilson filed a complaint Sept. 9 in Harris County District Court against Frontier Custom Builders Inc., and Ronald W. Bopp Jr., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the Wilsons hired the defendants to reconstruct a home at 2610 Sara Ridge Lane, Houston. The plaintiffs allege the work done by Frontier Custom and Bopp was negligent as they failed to install waterproof windows, did not build the exterior walls correctly and even left doors open so that wildlife would enter at night.

The plaintiffs said they filed a written notice of the substandard work July 3, but the defendants have failed to respond.

The Wilsons seek between $200,000 and $1 million, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all just relief. They are represented by attorney Edward P. Keenan of Spagnoletti Law Firm in Houston.
