Subcontractor alleges Orion Construction negligence led to bulldozer running over his legs

HOUSTON — A subcontractor is suing a construction company, alleging his legs were run over by a bulldozer.

Ramiro Hernandez of Hidalgo County filed a complaint Sept. 5 in the Harris County District Court against Orion Construction LP, alleging negligence and gross negligence.

According to the complaint, Hernandez was working for Orion as a subcontractor March 5, 2018. The suit states Hernandez was run over by a bulldozer, causing his legs to be severely injured.

The plaintiff alleges he was caused to lose wages and suffer pain and mental anguish.

Hernandez seeks trial by jury, monetary relief between $1 million and $100 million, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by attorneys Anthony G. Buzbee and Christopher J. Leavitt of The Buzbee Law Firm in Houston.
