Legal firm alleges clients owe more than $12,000

HOUSTON — A Harris County law firm is suing two Spring clients, alleging failure to pay more than $12,000 for services rendered.

Sharif & Associates PC filed a complaint Sept. 6 in Harris County District Court against Geeta Rani Behl and Chakshu Behl, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, Sharif & Associates entered into an oral contract with the Behls who agreed to pay the plaintiff on a monthly basis for the outstanding balance that was owed. The defendants owed $12,330.16, the suit alleges, and the Behls have failed to pay the plaintiff for their services.

Sharif & Associates seeks a minimum of $6,630.16 for damages suffered, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all just relief. It is represented by attorney M. Ali Zakaria of M. Ali Zakaria & Associates P.C. in Houston.
