GALVESTON — A construction company is suing an Abilene materials provider, alleging the defendant breached their work contract.

Nationwide Housing Systems LLC filed a complaint Sept. 10 in Galveston County District Court against Ruben Flores Jr., doing business as JNS Construction, alleging breach of contract and warranties.

According to the complaint, Nationwide Housing entered into an agreement with JNS Construction on Nov. 12, 2018, for general contracting work on a modular home in Tuscola. The suit states that although the plaintiff paid the defendant to provide the materials required to complete the construction project, JNS has been negligent in failing to perform its duties as it was contracted to do.

The plaintiff states it has terminated JNS but the plaintiff has been caused to suffer damages totaling $22,900.

Nationwide Housing Systems seeks the $22,900, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all other just relief. It is represented by attorneys Edwin Lamm III and Scott T. Citek of Lamm & Smith PC in Houston.
