Stockholder alleges energy business gave misleading information about company's health

HOUSTON — A stockholder is suing an energy company, alleging shareholders were misled about the financial health of the company.

Ertan Barucic, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, filed a class action complaint Sept. 10 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc., S.P. Johnson IV, Steven A. Webster, F. Gardner Parker, Frances Aldrich Sevilla-Sacasa, Thomas L. Carter Jr., Robert F. Fulton, Roger A. Ramsey and Frank A. Wojtek alleging violation of federal securities laws

Barucic alleges the defendants have filed materially incomplete and misleading information to their stockholders, failing to disclose important information regarding the state of the Carrizo Oil & Gas' health.

Barucic seeks trial by jury, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all other just and proper relief. He is represented by attorney Daniel Zemel of Zemel Law LLC in Clifton, New Jersey.
