LEAGUE CITY — A Galveston-based industrial supply company in the oil and gas markets is claiming two former employees violated their confidentiality agreements when they both went to work for a company formed by the husband of one of the former employees.

Banty Power Solutions, LLC filed a complaint Oct. 31 in Galveston County District Court against Fox Fastener & Supply, LLC, Stephanie Amjadi and Katlin Ledvina alleging unfair competition and misappropriation of trade secrets, tortious interference with contractual and prospective business relations, conversion, civil conspiracy, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract.

According to the suit, Ledvina and Amjadi worked as industrial representatives for Banty and had access to the company's customer leads, existing customers, marketing strategies and sales information. In March of 2019, Ledvina and Amjadi resigned from Banty and went to work for Fox, a company formed by Amjadi's husband, and allegedly solicited some of Banty's customers in violation of their confidentiality agreement, according to the suit.

Banty seeks monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million and all other just relief. They are represented by Frederick Fuhr of The Fuhr Law Firm in League City.
