HOUSTON — Two employees of an auto title services and surety bonds business and an insurance firm allege the company failed to properly compensate them and other workers for overtime.

Anselma Reyes, Beatriz Gonzalez and others filed a complaint  Nov. 21 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Ashish Holdings LLC, doing business as A-One Bonds & More and doing business as AA Friend Auto Insurance, Asim Didirali and Rubina Didirali, alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

According to the complaint, Reyes and Gonzalez, who were customer service clerks for the defendants, worked more than 40 hours per week but were paid the same hourly rate for their normal hours worked, in violation of the FLSA.

Reyes and Gonzalez seek the full amount of overtime compensation, interest, court costs and all other relief allowed by law. They are represented by attorneys Mark Siurek and Patricia Haylon of Warren & Siurek LLP in Houston.
