Promise Energy allegedly owes $30,000 for lost drill collars

GALVESTON — Promise Energy Holdings faces a suit from Patriot Production and Rental, alleging the defendant owes approximately $30,000 for drill collars that were lost in a well. 

Patriot Production and Rental Services and Rental Services, LLC filed a complaint Nov. 18 in the Galveston County District Court against Promise Energy Holdings, LLC alleging breach of contract. 

Patriot alleges it provided six drill collars to Promise between July 2-Aug. 12, 2018, under a lease agreement. The suit states Promise lost the drill collars in a well and has failed to pay a balance it owes of $30,004.92.

Patriot seeks monetary relief of less than $100,000, interest, attorney fees, court costs and all other just relief. It is represented by attorney J. David Little of The Law Office of J. David Little PC in Pearland.
