Woman alleges Baybrook Mall failed to warn of hole in parking lot that caused ankle injuries

HOUSTON – Baybrook Mall is facing a complaint filed by a woman who alleges she injured both of her ankles after falling into a hole in the mall's parking lot.

Denice Adams filed a complaint Dec. 16 in the Harris County District Court against Baybrook Mall LLC alleging breach of the duty of ordinary care.

Adams alleges she was at the Baybrook Mall parking lot on Dec. 15, 2017, when she stepped into a hole and sustained injuries to her ankles. She alleges she requires ongoing medical treatments for her injuries and that the defendant failed to place warnings or caution signs near the area.

Adams seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000, a trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Todd Webb of the Law Office of Todd E. Webb in Houston.
