TYLER — Kaizen Marketing is facing a sexual harassment suit from a former employee.
Caitlyn Jones filed a complaint Jan. 2 in the Tyler Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Kaizen Marketing Group Inc., alleging violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Jones began working for Kaizen Marketing on Feb. 11, 2019. She alleges that her supervisor sexually harassed her with behavior that started as comments such as "hey sexy" and other inappropriate talk. Jones claims the supervisor, who often drove her to and from work since she did not have transportation, forced her to have sex with him on two different occasions and threatened to "ruin her life" if she told anyone. She alleges she was fired for reporting the alleged harassment and received a right to sue from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Jones seeks monetary relief, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Willam Hommel, Jr., of The Hommel Law Firm in Tyler.
