HOUSTON — A Houston dentist is facing a negligence suit after a woman claims he left a root exposed and caused bone fragments during a procedure.

Jennfier Burrows filed a complaint Jan. 10 in the Harris County District Court against Alpha Dentist and Bichnoc Nguyen, D.D.S., alleging negligence.

Burrows underwent a "routine dental procedure" on Jan. 12, 2018. She alleges Nguyen "botched the procedure" by leaving her with an exposed root and loose bone fragments and damaging a crown in another area of her mouth. Burrows claims she required several corrective surgeries including a bone graft, draining of an abscess and a replacement crown.

Burrows seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Dainel Dutko of Rusty Hardin & Associates LLP in Houston.
