RICHMOND — A Rosenberg nail salon is facing a suit after a customer fell to the ground and hit her head when a chair suddenly collapsed.
Rachel Jones filed a complaint Jan 9 in. the Fort Bend County District Court against NKRJ LLC and Do NGA Thuythi doing business as Image Nails alleging liability.
Jones was at Image Nails in Rosenberg on Dec. 1, 2018. She alleges that while sitting in a chair to have her eyebrows waxed, the chair suddenly collapsed. Jones claims she fell three feet to the ground, hitting her head and elbow and suffered multiple injuries. Jones alleges Image Nails would have known the chair was damage and failed to correct the dangerous equipment.
Jones seeks monetary relief between $100,000 and $200,000, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Joshua Estes of The Estes Law Firm PC in Richmond.
