HOUSTON — The former CEO of a family-run Houston-based precast concrete company is claiming the owners misused company funds and failed to pay him more than $250,000 in earned bonuses.

Randal Romani filed a complaint Feb. 19 in the Harris County District Court against 4-S Manufacturing Texas LLC doing business as East Texas Precast alleging breach of contract.

Romani was hired as East Texas Precast president and CEO in 2013 which is owned by Dale Stites and his family.  On January 1, 2015 he signed a new contract with East Texas Precast that included a "base salary and financial-performance-based bonuses." Romani claims East Texas Precast failed to pay him more than $250,000 in bonuses or follow the required bonus payment schedule. He alleges that the Stites family "misused" hundreds of thousands of dollars of the company's revenue in litigation among family members and their entities.

Romani seeks monetary relief, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by Adam Milasincic of The Ammons Law Firm LLP in Houston.
