Woman sues after falling at Houston Bubba Gump Shrimp

HOUSTON — Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., is facing a suit after a woman slipped and suffered injuries at its Houston restaurant. 

Elba Ibarra filed a complaint https://s3.amazonaws.com/jnswire/jns-media/46/a2/11399469/89511426.PDF Feb. 19 in the Harris County District Court against Landry's Inc., doing business as Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and Golden Nugget LLC alleging premises liability. 

Ibarra was a customer at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., in Houston on Feb. 18, 2018. She alleges that as she was waiting to be seated at a table, she suddenly slipped and fell to the ground due to a liquid on the floor. She claims her injuries were so severe that she required medical and therapeutic care with several medical providers. Ibarra claims that after her fall, she noticed Bubba Gump Shrimp employees attempting to clean the spill and place wet floor signs around the area. 

Ibarra seeks monetary relief of no more than $73,000, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Pejman Maadani of Maadani Law in Houston.
