RICHMOND —  A woman is suing Walmart claiming she suffered a knee injury and required surgery after falling at a Richmond store.

Sarah Thomas filed a complaint Feb. 28 in the Fort Bend County District Court against Walmart Inc., alleging premises liability.

Thomas was at the Walmart on West Grand Parkway South in Richmond on Feb. 28, 2019. She alleges that while entering the store she fell and suffered injury to her knee and required surgery. Thomas claims Walmart should have known of the dangerous condition at its store entrance and failed to make sure their premises was safe.

Thomas seeks monetary relief of $75,000 or less, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. She is represented by Joseph Terry and L. Lee Thweatt of Terry & Thweatt PC in Houston.
