Pro Oil & Gas faces claim it failed to pay workers for overtime

MIDLAND —  Pro Oil & Gas is facing a class action claiming they required some of their employees to work more than 40 hours per week and failed to pay them for overtime work. 

Colby Baird, on behalf of himself and others similarly situated filed a complaint  Feb. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas Midland-Odessa Division against Pro Oil & Gas Services LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and New Mexico Minimum Wage Act. 

Baird was employed by Pro Oil & Gas for three years as a non-exempt employee working on wireline and other services in New Mexico. He alleges that he and other employees were required to work more than 40 hours per week and were not paid for overtime. 

The plaintiffs seek monetary relief, interest and all other appropriate relief. They are represented by Jack Siegel of The Siegal Law Group PLLC in Dallas and Travis Hedgpeth of The Hedgpeth Law Firm PC in Houston.
