Equipment retailer faces suit alleging company failed to pay workers overtime

SAN ANTONIO — A pneumatic and hydraulic equipment retailer is facing a suit alleging they failed to pay their workers for overtime. 

Jason Boynton, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated filed a complaint Feb. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas San Antonio Division against Wilson Company and Richard Bills alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. 

Boynton worked for Wilson as a store manager from April 2019 through February of 2020. He alleges that he was paid an hourly rate and received quarterly and annual bonuses. Boynton claims he and other employees worked more than 40 hours per week on a regular basis without being paid overtime in violation of federal law. 

Boynton seeks monetary relief, interest and all other just relief. He and the class are represented by Merideth McEntire of The Sanford Law Firm PLLC in Little Rock, Arkansas.
