Former Revolution Foods worker claims company failed to pay overtime

SAN ANTONIO — A Texas company that delivers meals to schools and other organizations is facing a suit from a former employee claiming he worked more than 40 hours per week without overtime compensation. 

Leonard Gaona filed a complaint Feb. 27 in the .S. District Court for the Western District of Texas San Antonio Division against Revolution Foods Inc., alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. 

Gaona worked for Revolution from November of 2016 through January 2020 as dispatch supervisor and district manager at its San Antonio distribution center. He alleges that she was classified as a non-exempt employee but worked more than 40 hours per week without overtime pay including working off the clock in the evenings and on weekends. 

Gaona seeks monetary and all other proper relief. He is represented by Josh Sanford of The Sanford Law Firm PLLC in Little Rock, Arkansas.
