Former NetSpark IP & Telecom VP claims breach of employment agreement

BEAUMONT — The former vice president of NetSpark IP & Telecom is claiming breach of contract alleging he was terminated without cause and without his promised compensation. 

Jason Peterson filed a complaint March 2 in the Beaumont Division of the Eastern District of Texas against NetSpark IP & Telecom LLC alleging breach of contract. 

Peterson entered into an employment agreement with NetSpark IP & Telecom on May 19, 2019 to serve as the company's vice president. The agreement included a $225,000 salary and a minimum profit sharing of $50,000. He alleges that he was fired on Dec. 16, 2019, without cause and no advanced notice. Peterson claims he is owed shares of five percent in NetSpark equity. 

Peterson seeks monetary relief exceeding $75,000, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. He is represented by Anthony Stergio of Andrews Myers PC in Houston.
