HOUSTON — A man who was beaten and stabbed by a bouncer and his friends outside a pub in Humble is claiming the negligence of the bar's owner, property owner and others.

Donald Kettler filed a complaint March 2 in the Harris County District Court against Bender Square Partners, David Mafrige, Lopez Venture Group LLC doing business as Shamrock's Pub, Salomon Wyatt and others alleging liability, negligence and assault and battery.

Kettler was at Shamrock's Pub in Bender Square on Sept. 23, 2019. He alleges that while he and his girlfriend were leaving the pub, Wyatt, one of the pub's bouncers, punched him in the face.
