Woman who hit her head on sign at McDonalds playground sues for $200K

HOUSTON —  A woman who hit her head on a sharp sign at a McDonalds playground area is claiming the playground owner's negligence. 

Thelma Agustin filed a complaint  March 9 in the Harris County District Court against My Blessings Inc., alleging liability. 

Agustin and her child were on the playground area of a McDonalds in Houston on March 9, 2018, which is owned by My Blessings. She alleges that while picking up her son, she hit her head on a sharp metal sign at the entrance of the playground. Agustin claims she suffered scarring on her forehead, pain and medical care expenses. 

Agustin seeks monetary relief between $100,000 and $200,000, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Christopher Brown of The Brown Law Group PLLC in Houston.
