HOUSTON — A North Carolina man is claiming negligence after he tripped over an exposed sprinkler head near the parking lot of the Doubletree Hotel at Houston's airport.

Robert Paradis filed a complaint March 7 in the Harris County District Court against Doubletree Hotels LLC, Merritt Hospitality LLC and others alleging premises liability and negligence.

Paradis was a guest at the Doubletree Hotel near the Houston airport on March 14, 2018 while on a business trip.
