Woman alleges tree trimmers dropped branches on top of her while she as walking by property

HOUSTON — A woman is suing a tree trimming business claiming they dropped branches on top of her while she was walking by a Houston property. 

Faith De Los Santos filed a complaint March 12 in the Harris County District Court against Carlos Pineda and Jose Martinez doing business as G&M Tree Specialist alleging negligence.

Santos was outside a property in Houston on March 19, 2018. She alleges that Pineda and Martinez dropped a tree branch on her while trimming tree limbs on the property. Santos claims she suffered injuries continues to require medical treatment. 

Santos seeks monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Richard Paxton of The Paxton Law Firm in Houston.
