HOUSTON — A couple is suing the City of Houston and others for $2.5 million after the husband was injured when a concrete form collapsed causing concrete to fall on him at the Northeast Water Purification Plant.
Falcon Gracia and Damaris Gracia filed a complaint March 12 in the Harris County District Court against CDM Smith/CDM Constructors Inc., Formwork Services & Supply LP, City of Houston and others alleging negligence.
Falcon Gracia was at the Northeast Water Purification Plant in Humble on April 3, 2019. The plaintiffs allege that he was "severely" injured when a fabricated concrete form designed and constructed by the defendants collapsed and caused concrete to pour onto him and forcing him into metal rebar.
The plaintiffs seek monetary relief in excess of $2.5 million, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. They are represented by Attorney Elliot Cin in Houston.
