Woman alleges she slipped on liquid substance at Lewis Food Town in Houston

HOUSTON — Lewis Food Town in Houston is facing a negligence claim by a woman alleging she slipped on liquid and suffered injuries. 

Carla Renteria filed a complaint April 2 in the Harris County District Court against Lewis Food Town Inc., alleging negligence. 

Renteria was shopping at Lewis Food town in Houston on May 6, 2018. She alleges that she slipped on liquid on the floor and suffered injuries. Renteria claims Lewis Food Town's owner and employees failed to inspect the store for the dangerous condition and were negligent in allowing the condition to exist.

Renteria seeks monetary relief, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. She is represented by Richard Presutti, Meredith Smith and Anthony Presutti in Houston.
