HOUSTON — A man is suing the owners of a dog that was allegedly running loose and bit him on the leg.

Dulce Mendieta filed a complaint March 31 in the Harris County District Court against Karen Cornelios and Fred Cornelius alleging negligence.

Mendieta alleges in his complaint that on Sept. 28, 2019, he was attacked by the defendants' dog and suffered a bite on his leg. He claims the dog was loose and that the defendants failed to properly restrain or protect people from their dog.

Mendieta seeks monetary relief of less than $200,000, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by Patrick O'Hara of The O'Hara Law Firm in Houston.
