HOUSTON – A Harris County woman has sued the owners/managers of her apartment complex, alleging their negligence caused her fall and injuries.

Reyna Townsend filed a complaint on Dec. 28 in Harris County District Court against Harbor Point Apartment Homes and CAF Management, alleging negligence.

Townsend alleged in her lawsuit that on Jan. 15, 2020, she was walking in the common area of her apartment complex, which is owned/managed by the defendants. The complex is located in Webster County. She claimed that she fell and suffered "serious bodily injury," including physical pain and mental anguish, as well as incurring medical expenses.

Townsend alleged the defendants were negligent in failing to "remedy or warn of an unreasonably dangerous condition" on their property. She further alleged that the defendants "should have known" about the alleged dangerous condition which she claimed caused her fall and injuries.

Townsend seeks monetary relief, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. She is represented by Attorney William Wells in Galveston.
