HOUSTON – A waitress at Vegas Club is suing the company, alleging a dancer bit off part of her nose.
Identified only as Jane Doe, Doe filed suit against West Side Promotions (Vegas Club) on March 2 in Harris County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, the incident happened on Feb. 7 at around 2 a.m. Doe was working as a waitress when one of the dancers became visibly agitated and began lashing out at those around her as a security guard and other coworkers attempted to restrain her.
Doe made her way toward the commotion to see if she could assist when the dancer grabbed her “head and bit off part” of her nose. The club did not call the police and Doe was driven to an emergency room.
Doe is accusing the club of negligently failing to hire qualified security guards.
On top of punitive damages, Doe is suing for her medical expenses, impairment, pain, mental anguish and disfigurement.
Doe is also seeking an injunction to preserve evidence.
Houston attorney Leonid Kishinevsky represents her.
