The national litigation boutique Lehotsky Keller LLP has added Katherine C. Yarger as a partner in Denver, CO. The firm, started Feb. 1, has already grown to ten lawyers across three offices—Washington, D.C., Austin, TX, and Denver—and five of the firm’s lawyers clerked at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Katherine (Katie) Yarger is an experienced litigator focusing on complex commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels. She has tried federal jury cases to successful verdicts on behalf of her clients and has argued and won cases in federal appellate courts. Building from her experience representing clients in many industries—including insurance, technology, and mining and heavy manufacturing—Yarger’s practice will focus on complex class action litigation, consumer protection issues, and critical regulatory matters.

Yarger clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, then-Tenth Circuit Judge Neil Gorsuch, and then-Colorado Supreme Court Justice Allison Eid. She previously practiced trial and appellate litigation at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP and at Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell LLP, both in Denver.

“I am so pleased to join this elite group of litigators and look forward to providing excellent and efficient client service across a wide array of industry sectors,” said partner Katie Yarger.

“We are thrilled to expand our firm to Denver. Katie is the perfect addition to our team given her substantial experience providing high-quality representation for clients from the West Coast through the Rockies and into the Midwest,” said founding partner Steve Lehotsky.

“Katie has extensive trial and appellate litigation experience representing sophisticated clients in complex matters, added founding partner Scott Keller. “She is the ideal lawyer to grow our boutique’s nationwide presence.”
