Man alleges Houston restaurant's improper food preparation, sanitization caused his illness

HOUSTON — A man alleges he suffered serious illness due to improper food preparation and lack of employee's sanitizing their hands at Free Range Concepts in Houston. 

McKinley Wyche filed a complaint Dec. 23 in Harris County District Court against Free Range Concepts LLC alleging negligence. 

Wyche alleges in his complaint that he ate dinner at Free Range Concepts' restaurant in Houston on Sept. 12, 2020. He claims the defendant's failure to train its employees on properly cooking food and sanitizing their hands, caused him to incur medical care costs suffer disfigurement, impairment, loss of earning capacity and other damages. 

He further alleges in his complaint that the defendant failed to train its employees on maintaining proper hygiene and to follow Code restrictions. 

Wyche seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. He is represented by Joshua Daws and Ryan Berchelmann of Stewart J. Guss in Houston.
