HOUSTON — An Austin-based realty company is facing a claim it has defaulted on more than $15,000 in loans.

Antoinette Williams filed a complaint March 14 in Harris County County District Court against Enlightened Path Realty LLC, Isstad Rashadeem, and Marina Sanchez alleging breach of contract, fraud and other claims.

According to Williams' complaint, Enlightened Path signed a promissory note on Jan. 23, 2020, to pay her $2,500 plus 20% interest which was due in May of 2020. Additionally Williams accuses the defendant of defaulting on a promissory note the parties entered in late January 2020. According to the suit, Enlightened Path failed to uphold its part of an agreement in which it was to pay the complainant $15,500 at 50% interest on the profits of the property at 1503 Beaver Bend Rd. which is also now in default as of May 22, 2020.

Williams claims that despite numerous calls and messages to the defendants, she has failed to recover her funds. She alleges the defendants made a false representation that they would repay the funds which they have failed to do despite a valid contract.

Williams seeks monetary relief of no more thatn $250,000, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Leslie Adams and Patrick Alvarez, Jr., of Leslie Wm. Adams & Associates in Houston.
