Most formal contracts include force majeure provisions, allowing for the termination or suspension of contractual obligations when force majeure events arise. During the pandemic, parties to contracts tested the limits of force majeure terms, especially in the commercial real estate field. In this session, we will hear from a commercial real estate/developer and how they dealt with such provisions during the pandemic.
