Alicia Sienne Voltmer, a Labor & Employment (L&E) Practice shareholder in the Dallas office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at the BDO Restaurant CFO Bootcamp June 6-7.
Voltmer, a frequent speaker to national audiences, will discuss “Hot Topics in Labor & Employment Law” and provide an overview of current and emerging L&E issues faced by today’s restaurateurs. BDO, a resource providing assurance, tax, financial advisory, and consulting services to clients in Dallas and beyond, hosts this bootcamp and offers industry-specific educational sessions in which best practices and trends on a variety of financial, tax, and operational topics are discussed by restaurant industry advisors and executives.
Voltmer advises clients on day-to-day employment matters, including reductions in force, disciplinary actions, accommodations, hiring, and firing. She also handles client mediations, arbitrations, administrative hearings, and court proceedings involving state and federal employment laws. Additionally, Voltmer is a board member of the Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation and has served as the vice chair of the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association since 2018.
