The Legal 500 U.S. has ranked Butler Snow nationally for its pharmaceutical, medical device and health care work in the publication’s Dispute Resolution: Product Liability, Mass Tort and Class Action – Defense: Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices category. The firm, one of only 30 firms ranked in the top tiers nationwide, was described as providing “an ‘exceptional’ service to clients.” The editorial went on to say “…its subject matter and strategic litigation expertise ensures that it is also regularly engaged as national coordinating and MDL counsel.”

For the fifth consecutive year, Alyson Bustamante Jones was one of only six attorneys nationwide named as a Next Generation Partner. Of Jones, the publication’s editorial said “Ridgeland-based team head Alyson Jones continues to impress as a result of her aptitude at handling coordinated proceedings and individual plaintiff cases, where clients receive not only her strategic litigation expertise but also her core understanding of the underlying business implications, as a result of her previous three-year secondment at a major pharmaceutical company.” Attorney William M. Gage was also recognized in the editorial for his pharmaceutical, medical device and health care work, and attorneys Kim Bueno, Paul V. Cassisa, Jr., David M. Cohen, Andrea La'Verne Edney , Eric E. Hudson, Chad R. Hutchinson, G. Brian Jackson, Orlando R. Richmond, Sr., Tara L. Blake, Paul S. Rosenblatt and Travis B. Swearingen were named as other key lawyers in the practice.
