Lawsuits

GALVESTON — A woman alleges she slipped at an apartment complex in League City and suffered severe injuries.

Audrey Campbell filed a complaint July 5 in the Galveston County 56th District Court against Keener Shore LLC alleging negligence.

Campbell alleges she was at the defendant's apartment complex in League City on April 19, 2022. She claims as she was walking to the restroom, she stepped on a "weak spot" in the floor and fell and suffered severe injuries.  Campbell alleges the defendant was negligent for failing to maintain its premises including the floors and walkways, failing to inspect the premises and for failing to correct the dangerous condition.

She also alleges the defendant failed to warn of the hazard and had a duty to inform her of the dangerous condition. She claims the defendant knew or should have known about the unreasonably dangerous condition. Campbell also claims as a result of her slip and fall, she also suffered impairment, disfigurement and incurred medical treatment expenses.

Campbell seeks monetary relief of no more than $250,000, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. She is represented by Jordan James The Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
