GALVESTON — A woman alleges she and her dog were attacked by another dog who jumped out of a car window.

Maria Aguilar filed a complaint Oct. 12 in Harris County District Court against Ervin Charles Solomon, Sr., alleging negligence.

Aguilar alleges in her complaint that on Aug. 15, 2022, she was attacked by Solomon's dog. She claims that she was walking her dog when Solomon's dog jumped out of a vehicle and attacked her and her dog. Aguilar alleges that Solomon negligently left his dog in a vehicle with the window open enough to allow the dog to jump out of the car.

She claims she and her dog suffered severe injuries due to Solomon's negligence.

Aguilar seeks monetary relief between $250,000 and $1 million, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. She is represented by Jose Orihuela of Orihuela & Associates PLLC in League City.
